Meeting up with some special friends

The day after Thanksgiving, we visitied the science center downtown and had the wonderful pleasure of being able to meet Debbie , Binny and their lovely family. Debbie and I both belong to an online message board for families who have been blessed with a child with DownSyndrome. It was an incredible treat for Michael and I to be able to spend some time with these wonderful friends.

Binny and Michael....Buddies!
Thank you to Binny's big sister, Shira, for standing behind me getting these two fellas to
smile.

Happy Thanksgiving

We are thankful for being able to share this Thanksgiving with our dear family and friends. Twenty eight people sat down to dinner. It was wonderful!

Our Buddy Walk

It was a great day for our Buddy Walk. It was held at Progressive Field, home of the Cleveland Indians. This was the first year that we had a Sherman volunteer. Peter did an awesome job painting little faces (and even some big ones). It was a wet morning but by the time we arrived the rain was stopping. The only disappointment was that because of the wet ground, we weren't allowed to walk our lap on the field. We walked in the concourse and around the block instead. As always, we were cheered on and high fived (Michael's most favorite part!) all along the one mile walk. Unfortunately Colleen, Dan, Anna and Mary couldn't be at the walk with us today but the rest of us had a great time.
